The Med-Surg department is looking for an CNA II to join their team.

This is a full time, Days position, scheduled 36 hours per week and is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.

Mid Columbia Medical Center is located in The Dalles, Oregon. Responsible for assisting licensed nursing personnel in the provision of nursing care. Participates as a member of the health care team under the direction of a licensed nurse as defined by Standards and Authorized Duties for Certified Nursing Assistants in the Nurse Practice Act (ORS 678.150-678.442 {851.062-0010 thru 851.062-00135 June 2010}). Also assists with clerical functions, housekeeping, and patient transportation throughout the hospital. May perform unit clerk responsibilities as assigned.

• Graduated from an accredited CNA and CNA 2  program

• Oregon Current Licensure as a CNA: Current CNA 2 certification required.
• BLS certification required

• Experience with using everyday technology tools (e.g., email, voicemail, internet/intranet, EMR)

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Ability to work well on multi-disciplinary team
