    We are now accepting applications for a Physical Therapist to join our exceptional Visiting Health Services team.

     

    Schedule/Benefits:  This position is a part time position scheduled approximately 20 hours per week.  This position offers a competitive salary, flexible scheduling, a comprehensive benefits package and plenty of play time.  Relocation assistance will be provided if needed.

     

    Responsibilities

    Provides direct physical therapy service and instruction to homebound patients and family in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment and subsequent orders.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Masters Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
    • Licensed in Physical Therapy by the State of Oregon and Washington State
    • Current Healthcare provider CPR
    • Must have valid driver’s license

    Experience:

    • One year clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

    Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

    • Must have an in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy, theory and practice and the legal and ethical issues associated with them
    • Should be neat in work and appearance; be tactful, courteous, and ethical.
    • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with some supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
    • Knowledge of Medicare regulations/requirements.
    • Working knowledge of palliative care for the terminally ill patient.
    • Knowledgeable of the care for the chronically ill and frail elderly.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Able to work autonomously and manage the caseload.
    • Must have valid driver's license and auto liability insurance.
    • Must have capability to assess and use high speed internet.
    • Operational knowledge of computerized clinical documentation including the use of laptop/notebook computers.
    • Annually prepares realistic professional goals and reviews their progress with Supervisor.
