  • Overview

    MCMC's Sports Medicine Department is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer.

     

    This is a full time position and is eligible for a comprehensive benefits and PTO package.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    Responsible for the development and implementation of programs and activities to ensure injury prevention, treatment, health, and wellness, and proper training and readiness for individuals to perform sports and athletics

     

    *Senior ATC - Provide clinical services to one or more physicians(s), working closely with physicians, other support personnel, and patients to ensure a well functioning and efficient clinic along with excellent patient care. The Senior Athletic Trainer will function as a physician extender with clinic patient care; assists in surgery. Attends appropriate CME and meetings.  Performs other duties as assigned and need to support the program, staff and patients.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field. *Masters degree in health related field for Senior Athletic Trainer
    • Current BOC – Certified Athletic Trainer through the National Athletic Trainer’s Association (NATA).
    • Current Registry with the Oregon Health Licensing Agency (OHLA) as an Athletic Trainer.
    • Current License as an Athletic Trainer with Washington State (or ability to obtain prior to working in Washington State).
    • Current CPR certification

    Experience:

    • Minimum one year experience in athletic training setting preferred. Entry level graduates with NATA certification will be considered.
