Great ‘n Small Child Development Center is looking for an Assistant Caregiver who has the ability to positively and creatively interact with young children.
This is a casual position and will receive a 13% pay differential in lieu of benefits. Must be able to arrive to work within 15 minutes of being called.
The Assistant Caregiver assists the teacher with classroom activities and provides educational interaction and basic care needs to a variety of age and developmental levels, ages 6 weeks through 12 years.
High school graduate or equivalent. Must have current first aid and CPR training (Will provide training if needed). Must have State Food Handler’s Card. Must be enrolled in the Child Care Division Central Background Registry. Experience working with children in a classroom or group setting and education in Child Development or Early Childhood Education are preferred. Candidates must have a passion for caring for young children and demonstrate a high level of patience and flexibility. Good communication and the ability to work harmoniously in a team setting are required.
