  • Overview

    Mid-Columbia Medical Center is now accepting applications for an Ultrasound Tech. (Rad. Tech III) to join the Diagnostic Imaging department.

     

    This position is Part-time Core, and will be scheduled to work 20 hours (or more per week).  This position is benefit eligible, OR a 13% status differential may be selected in lieu of benefits.

    Responsibilities

    Candidates should have excellent communication skills and work positively and harmoniously in a team setting as well as independently. Knowledge and experience in all areas of Ultrasound, Abd/OB/GYN is preferred. One year of hospital experience is required. ARDMS eligibility or registration and OBMI licensure is required. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, including the ability / willingness to take call and holiday coverage.  When on call, must be within 30 minutes from work.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education, Training & Experience (includes licenses or certifications):

    Education:

    • Graduate of certified Radiologic Technology school or program.  

    Licensure/Certification:

    • Current applicable state licensure in Radiologic Technologist Diagnostic and national registration in Radiography (ARRT-R) required.
    • BLS/CPR Certification: Personnel providing direct care in patient care and diagnostic areas are required to acquire and maintain BLS/CPR certification.

    Experience:

    • Minimum two years previous experience in the appropriate modality field of imaging.
