Overview

Mid-Columbia Medical Center is hiring a full-time Recruitment Consultant to join their Human Resources team.

 

This position is full-time, exempt,  and eligible for a comprehensive benefits and paid time off package.

 

 

Responsibilities

Under limited supervision, responsible for the recruitment, interviewing and placement of candidates utilizing all internal and external resources available for leadership, professional, clinical, and support services. Consults with hiring managers as it relates to recruitment and staffing issues. Coaches hiring managers on the selection process and on legal requirements. Develops network industry contacts and arranges and hosts site visits. Participates in on-going projects to further develop an integrated recruitment process for MCMC and its entities. Monitors workforce market trends and analyzes implication on organizational staffing needs. prepares reports relating to recruitment activity, metrics and productivity. Identifies and participates in policy and program development in collaboration with HR staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Education, Training & Experience (includes licenses or certifications):

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, business administration or related field, or equivalent applicable experience required. Professional certification in a specialty area strongly preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum two years of recruiting experience to include behavioral-based interviewing and assessing candidates, advertising design and placement and development of proactive sourcing strategies. Experience in a fast paced, high volume recruitment function preferred.
  • Working knowledge of all HR functional areas with emphasis on EEOC requirements state labor laws, immigration requirements and ADA. This position requires excellent organization, problem solving, written and oral communication and customer service skills. Strong negotiation and presentation and public relations/public speaking skills.

  • Positive interpersonal communications skills to interact effectively with all levels of employees within and outside the MCMC community, including ability to motivate, convince or persuade in sensitive situations.
  • Excellent planning, organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to analyze and trend employment data, evaluate and apply in decision making
  • Performs special projects as assigned
