Mid-Columbia Medical Center (MCMC) is searching for a qualified candidate with a preferably strong background in Organizational Development to lead its Human Resources team.

This position is responsible developing and executing human resources (HR) strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of talent management, succession planning, organizational and performance management, training and development, culture/employee experience and total rewards (compensation/benefits). The person in this position provides strategic leadership by communicating HR needs and plans to the executive management team, shareholders and board of directors.
Promotes, supports and exemplifies a culture focused on excellence to include patient centered care, engagement, accountability, customer service, safety, quality and organizational change. Serves as the subject matter expert across all aspects of Human Resources.
Minimum Education, Training & Experience (includes licenses or certifications):
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or related field. Masters Degree in Organization Development or related field preferred.
Minimum of seven years of progressive experience preferably in a senior level HR position where people are viewed as a critical component to the business. Three years experience in healthcare preferred. Has built a history of building collaborative relationships and being viewed as a critical contributing member of the senior management. Is viewed to make contributions of value to the organization as a whole, instilling strong cultural values. Experience as a confidant to the CEO and other senior executives across all facets of human capital, business strategy and culture. Must be willing to challenge management's point of view when appropriate, while offering alternative constructive suggestions.
